cover it. That’s when having the ADA Critical Illness Insurance Plan can make a big difference.
The ADA Critical Illness Insurance Plan is a smart way to help ensure you have the crucial
financial support you need, when you need it most. The insurance plan will pay cash directly to
you in the event that you or a covered family member is diagnosed with one of the covered critical
illnesses.
Up to $50,000 in a lump sum payment. Payment is made upon first diagnosis of one of
the covered critical illnesses for you or a covered family member.
Use the funds any way you want. Pay off medical debt, expensive prescriptions
not covered by your health insurance or travel expenses for out-of-town treatments.

The ADA Critical Illness Insurance Plan is designed to give ADA members a way to offset some of the expenses
of critical illness treatment that may not be covered by health insurance.

1Members who are under age 65 with unmarried children under age 21 (27 if they
are full-time students) can apply for dependent children coverage The monthly cost for each
dependent child is $1.32 per $5,000 of benefit.
2Critical Illness Insurance Plan coverage issued on a guaranteed acceptance basis
is subject to a pre-existing conditions limitation, which means no benefits will be payable for a
condition for which the insured received medical treatment, care, advice, or medication within the 12
consecutive month period before the effective date of guaranteed acceptance coverage.

4Beginning at age 65, benefit amounts can no longer be increased. Critical Condition
Coverage is renewable up to age 70.
